Sodium Percarbonate
Sodium percarbonate is colorless monoclinic crystal or white granular powder, and industrial products are white or off-white crystal powder, which is deliquescent, easily soluble in water and decomposed to release oxygen, and decomposed in ethanol. Sodium percarbonate has dual properties of sodium carbonate and hydrogen peroxide. React with acetaldehyde to generate peracetic acid. Reacting with hydrochloric acid, nitric acid and acetic acid produces carbon dioxide and water, and releases oxygen. Flammable in contact with organic matter. Sodium percarbonate is used in cotton fabric bleaching, dyeing, mercerization, iodine extraction from seaweed, sugar and oil refining. It can also be used as oxidant, preservative, disinfectant, detergent for beer barrels, etc
